This page explains what happens to the information you send us through this website, and the cookies the site uses. It covers the website only. Care you receive in the pharmacy is handled under our clinical records policy, which the team can give you on request.

What we collect, and why

The contact form. Your name, email address and message. We use them only to answer you. Your message is emailed to the pharmacy team, and replying to it replies to you.

The repeat prescription form. Your name, date of birth, phone number, address, GP surgery and the medication you are requesting. This is health information, and we treat it as such: it is emailed straight to the pharmacy team so they can process the request with your GP, and it is not used for anything else. We do not ask for an email address on this form, so we contact you by phone.

Booking and registration. Appointment booking and patient registration are handled by third party services. When you use them you leave this website, and their own privacy notices apply.

Cookies

The website sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. We would like to use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site so we can improve it, and we only set those cookies if you agree. If you decline, Analytics still receives an anonymous, cookieless record that a page was viewed, which cannot be used to recognise you or link your visits together.

Nothing you type into a form on this site is ever sent to Google Analytics.

Who else sees your information

Form submissions are delivered by Resend, an email delivery service, and arrive in the pharmacy's mailbox. Analytics data, if you have agreed to it, is processed by Google. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact the pharmacy on 0131 563 6824 or at enquiries@bruntsfieldpharmacy.co.uk and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
